LONG Bar
A custom-built Long Bar located on the ground floor, boasts an impressive collection of locally and internationally sourced beers, wines and spirits. A marble adorned bar extends through the heart of the hotel, providing a crisp and elegant environment for our patrons. This space provides a comfortable informal dining setting, a perfect accompaniment for pre and post event gatherings with family, friends and other sports aficionados. Accompanied by an adjacent dining room, the ground floor of the hotel also sports a gaming lounge, intimate booth style seating and an elevator for ease of access to all areas of the building. These new addition have changed the very face of this iconic North Adelaide institution, hinting to what other secret discoveries might be revealed upstairs.
Balcony bar
The Balcony Bar, echoing the urban chic of a New York City style rooftop affords patrons a spacious and comfortable place to share a bottle of wine and a pizza by the fire. An inviting fire on the roof top beer garden and a wrap-around balcony are but a few of the features located upstairs. Oriented to showcase the Southern Vista, our rooftop view captures the side profile of the St Peters Cathedral and extends further toward the River Torrens to the imposing grandeur of the Adelaide oval. A cleverly tailored cocktail list, extensive wine and spirit options accompany these superb surroundings whilst the texturally balanced architecture and styling of our balcony bar and rooftop will have you planning your next visit before you’ve even walked out the door.
Heritage ROOM
Our newly renovated Heritage Room is located on the first floor of the hotel providing a stylish contained space for medium-large sized cocktail or seated events. This room has a modern, light-filled interior and direct access to a large balcony space on the exterior of the hotel offering stunning views of St Peter’s Cathedral and Adelaide Oval
Torrens ROOM
The newly built Torrens Room allows greater capacity and enhances the flexible nature and accessibility of the hotel. The Torrens Room is light and spacious, creating a warm and inviting environment for your next function. Sporting state of the art digital interface for all technical requirements, its own bar, private facilities, and a neutral palate, this bespoke addition to the Cathedral is the perfect space to host private events within close proximity to the Adelaide CBD.
Rooftop
The largest outdoor area for the venue, with captivating views of St Peters Cathedral and Adelaide Oval
The rooftop is the most flexible of areas on offer within the venue. With it’s own bar, the option to join onto either the Balcony Bar or the Torrens Room, this additional space allows guests to have more room to enjoy your event.
good samaritan cafe
The Good Samaritan Bar can be transformed to your needs. With the ability to serve fresh cold beer from its four taps. This space is perfect for those that just need a room to have a smaller meeting or even a 21st.
